First Abu Dhabi Bank rolled out the Jaywan Debit Card, a domestically issued payment card managed by Al Etihad Payments and backed by the Central Bank of the UAE, currently live for local transactions.
Shoppers can swipe at local merchants, handle online purchases on UAE-based platforms, and pull cash from ATMs nationwide. The whole thing plugs directly into FAB's mobile app for tracking spending and managing accounts. Security-wise, it runs 3D Secure verification alongside Chip and PIN, and wallet tokenisation means you can load it onto digital wallets for contactless payments.
