Fazel Atrachali makes Pro Kabaddi history with 200th match

Dabang Delhi coach Joginder Narwal praised defender Fazel Atrachali after Atrachali became the first player to appear in 200 matches in Pro Kabaddi League history. Atrachali’s four points and decisive Super Raid in the tie-breaker helped Dabang Delhi secure a win over Haryana Steelers, but the significance of his achievement extends beyond statistics. Coach Narwal described Atrachali as more than a player, calling him family and highlighting his positive influence on the entire team. Narwal noted Atrachali’s discipline and leadership, stating that he guides younger players and earns respect through his conduct.

Reflecting on the milestone, Atrachali said he never imagined reaching 200 matches when he started in season two, and he credited humility and dedication for his longevity. Narwal recalled their first meeting, emphasizing that Atrachali was already a legend who remained willing to listen and mentor others. The team’s close-knit environment and Atrachali’s example continue to inspire both players and coaches.
