Fire Breaks Out in Kwara State Building No Injuries Reported

Flames broke out early Saturday morning at God First Plaza near TCN on Ogbondoroko Road. The building caught fire around 6:20 when most people were still sleeping. Twenty different spaces filled the one-story structure with ten apartments and ten shops. Fire crews rushed over when someone called for help. Thick smoke poured from the windows as firefighters arrived at the scene.

Brave fire workers jumped into action right away to stop the blaze from spreading. They sprayed water on the burning building for several minutes. Their quick work kept flames from reaching other nearby structures. Glass windows exploded during the fight making loud crashing sounds. People ran away from the building when they heard the scary noise.

Nobody got hurt during the whole scary event. All the firefighters stayed safe throughout their dangerous work. The fire damaged just one apartment before crews put it out completely. Hassan Adekunle from the fire department talked about what happened. He said the team did an amazing job saving most of the building.

Electric problems started the fire when power surged through the wires. The damaged apartment had lots of things that burn easily inside. These materials made the fire grow much faster and stronger. Fire officials checked everything after putting out the flames. They wanted to make sure people knew what caused the dangerous situation.
