Ford brings certified used cars to Amazon Autos

Ford has partnered with Amazon to sell certified pre-owned vehicles through the e-commerce platform, allowing customers to browse inventory from local dealerships and complete financing arrangements online. The initiative will launch in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas, with nearly 180 dealerships expressing interest and 20 already enrolled in the program.

Buyers can handle most paperwork digitally but must visit dealerships for vehicle pickup, as home delivery will not be available. Each automobile comes with manufacturer warranties and standard dealership purchase benefits. Amazon Autos began offering used vehicles earlier this year after receiving requests from dealer partners, with Hyundai also joining the marketplace. The vehicles remain dealer-owned throughout transactions, while Amazon serves only as a connection point between sellers and purchasers.
