Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma from the Fukrey movies are doing another comedy called Rahu Ketu. The pair visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to pray before the film comes out. Samrat posted some clips from the trip online, showing the team seeking blessings and the two actors chanting from an electric rickshaw. The movie is directed by Vipul Vig and features a bunch of other people like Shalini Pandey, Piyush Mishra, and Chunky Pandey. It is about two hapless guys named Rahu and Ketu trying to get back a magic notebook from someone called Meenu Taxi.
Samrat called the project a fun and twisted chaos that they could not wait to share. Sharma said he knew the film would be different from their past work right after hearing the concept. Vig mentioned his personal interest in astrology and the challenge of mixing it with comedy. He found it exciting to direct the two Fukrey actors for his first film. The story follows those two lovable but clueless characters on their wild mission.
Zee Studios and BLive Productions are putting the movie out. Audiences can see it early next year.
