Gachagua declares himself the medicine to remove Ruto in Ruiru

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua outlined his presidential agenda during a Saturday rally in Ruiru, Kiambu County. The politician announced three immediate policy changes he would implement if elected in 2027. Education reform tops his priority list, with plans to strengthen free schooling programs first established by former President Mwai Kibaki. Many families continue to struggle with educational costs, despite government promises of accessible basic education.

Healthcare improvements represent Gachagua's second major focus area. He plans to restore free maternity services that would reduce financial pressure on expecting families. The candidate also promised better maternal and child health outcomes across Kenya through these policy changes.

Tax relief forms the third pillar of his proposed reforms. Gachagua pledged to eliminate the housing levy that currently burdens taxpayers during difficult economic times. He believes removing this financial obligation will provide citizens with greater economic flexibility and improved living conditions.
