Gerakan Deputy President Oh Tong Keong claimed that persistent problems like flooding, a weak economy, and traffic congestion continue to plague the constituency despite it being held by DAP. He urged residents to vote for Gerakan, arguing that a DAP member would still serve as the local Member of Parliament and receive federal support.
