The theme focused on justice and reparations for African people around the world. Communications Minister Samuel Nartey George spoke about unity across the continent. These efforts align with Africa's development plans for the future.

Morocco's ambassador, Imane Ouaadil, said Ghana has championed reparations for many years. Ghana held major conferences about reparations in 2022 and 2023 before other countries joined. African countries must work together to build peace and prosperity.

The ceremony featured a photo exhibition showing African history and progress. Security forces marched during the official parade at the State House.
