Ghana holds its annual Wholesome Mind Xperience mental health summit on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. The event launches a reconstruction campaign for the Special Ward at Accra Psychiatric Hospital with a goal of raising 4 million Ghanaian cedis to create the nation's first Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. The Commissioner General designated the Wholesome Mind Project as a Worthwhile Cause under Section 100 of the Income Tax Act from 2015, and this allows donors to claim tax deductions for their 2025 contributions.
