Ghana TMPC pressed massage therapists to follow legal limits

Ghana's massage scene just got a reality check, and honestly, the whole thing reads like a server admin banning players for exploiting glitches. The TMPC basically told every massage therapist in the country to stop freelancing outside their legal sandbox. Dr. Yakubu Tobor Yusuf, the Acting Registrar, dropped this warning at a CPD training session in Accra.

And get this, the CPD programme is going nationwide for the very first time. It's literally a yearly requirement if you want your licence renewed. Yusuf pointed out that spas are popping up everywhere in Ghana, but most people have zero clue about the medico-legal guardrails wrapped around the practice.

Dr. Kofi Blankson, Esq., a guest speaker at the event, reminded everyone that this field carries real liability risks. His advice? Walk clients through procedures, potential downsides, benefits, and alternatives before touching a single muscle. Informed consent isn't optional; it's the whole damn foundation of staying in the game long-term.
