Ghanaian actor Kwame Broni claims a fake gig got him jailed for a month

Ghanaian actor Kwame Broni faced a terrible ordeal when police arrested him for something he says he never did. The content creator spent one full month behind bars. He believes his former manager set him up. Broni shared his story during a recent talk on Angel TV. The experience left him confused and scared.

Broni had stopped working with his manager about a year earlier. Two previous cases had gone badly for him with this same person. The former manager apparently planned with other people to trap Broni. They used a fake hosting job at an event to lure him to Kumasi. Broni had no idea what was coming.

The manager had already taken a large sum of money for the fake program. Broni knew nothing about this money or the event. When he showed up to work the supposed hosting gig, police were waiting. Officers arrested him right away. They took him straight to Kumasi Central Police Station.

Broni stayed locked up for weeks without clear answers about the charges. He struggled to figure out what he had supposedly done wrong. The actor felt lost and helpless during his time inside. Nobody could explain the case properly to him. He finally got out after fighting the charges for thirty days.
