GIK Acoustics replaced its Alpha and Impression product lines with the Amplitude series that incorporates customer feedback and design research into acoustic treatment panels. The recessed plate design creates flush surfaces with frames, resulting in cleaner profiles than previous hybrid diffusion products. Chief Product Officer David Shevyn said the recessed plate improves acoustic performance while adding visual appeal to studios and living spaces.
The series includes broadband acoustic panels, bass trap panels for frequencies below 100 Hz and corner bass traps. Customers select from 20 Camira Cara fabrics, 12 patterns and five finishes in beech, walnut, grey elm, black and white. Panels come in four sizes while corner traps offer standard and half-height options. The company launched a website with a 3D configurator for real-time panel customization before purchase. Amplitude acoustic panels start at $79, bass trap panels at $119 and corner bass traps at $209.
