GLE Recall Sends Mercedes Fans into Panic

Zimbabwean car owners need to check their Mercedes SUVs for safety problems. The Consumer Protection Commission warns about a fault in certain GLE models made between 2022 and 2025. The issue affects the vehicle's electric starter system and might cause the car to lose power without warning when driving.

South African officials flagged this problem on April 7, noting that cars went to Zimbabwe and nearby countries. Anyone with this Mercedes model should visit an authorized dealer right away for free repairs. The dangerous flaw happens when the car's computer wrongly thinks something is broken and shuts off an important part.

Car owners can call Mr. Mudereri at 0719176506 or Mr. Sibanda at 0719176473 for more details about fixing their vehicles. The recall came after alerts from both COMESA and South African consumer groups. Driving with this problem greatly raises crash risk on the roads.
