GLIT aids 28 in Zibagwe-Chirumanzu ward 2

ZANU PF Councillor Basil Mutosvori praised local organizations for supporting government initiatives to deliver health care services to underserved populations after Greenlight International Trust distributed mobility devices to 28 recipients on Saturday. The councillor from Zibagwe-Chirumanzu Ward 2 commended efforts to ensure marginalized communities receive essential services through collaborative partnerships between public institutions and private entities.

Greenlight International Trust founder Tawanda Makwiramiti announced plans for a 20-hectare rehabilitation center serving children with severe disabilities and substance abuse victims. The organization provided wheelchairs and mobility aids to 103 people in 2025 through its community outreach programs across Zimbabwe.

Makwiramiti requested volunteers with construction expertise and financial backing to complete the health facility. The trust operates through compassion-driven collaboration rather than abundant resources and seeks partnerships with sponsors committed to transforming lives through disability services.
