Gorimbo Hints Chivayo Ties Behind Jah Prayzah Visa Denial

Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah canceled his United States concert tour after visa problems blocked his travel plans. The singer planned to perform in Washington D.C. and Dallas during early July as part of his world tour. He said technical problems with his application forms caused the delay and forced him to restart the entire visa process. Officials could not schedule new appointments before his concert dates arrived.

UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo suggested the visa denial connected to Jah Prayzah's friendship with businessman Wicknell Chivayo. Gorimbo posted on social media that American officials treat people based on their associations and called the denial a warning sign. Many fans questioned whether the visa rejection really stemmed from paperwork errors or deeper concerns about political connections.

Chivayo gave Jah Prayzah expensive gifts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars during recent months. The businessman handed over a new Range Rover and large cash payments to support the musician's career. Critics worry about Chivayo's reputation since authorities have linked him to government corruption and political networks. Some people believe American visa officers investigated these financial relationships before making their decision.

New American visa rules require officials to examine applicants' social media accounts and public associations more carefully. The State Department wants to verify that visitors will only participate in approved activities during their stay. Jah Prayzah confirmed his Canadian concerts will proceed as planned and promised to reschedule the American shows for a future date.
