Police arrested a 54-year-old man for stealing work gear from his former job.
Howard Moyana, who lives in Eastview Phase 12, Goromonzi, faces theft charges after taking $300 worth of uniforms from Elegant Age in Harare. A court hearing left him in custody without bail.
The theft was discovered when store assistant Veronica Mapererenzano received a tip about missing items on April 5. She then went with police officers to search his home.
They found four pairs of safety shoes, two ZETDC rain suits, three work pants, and a motorcycle rain jacket at his house. Moyana allegedly took these items while working at the company.
