Government backs support for marginalised learners

Zimbabwe's deputy finance minister has reaffirmed government support for disadvantaged students through expanded funding mechanisms aligned with President Mnangagwa's Vision 2030 development framework. David Mnangagwa told attendees at Donjane Secondary School prize ceremonies that the Basic Education Assistance Module covers tuition and examination expenses for thousands of vulnerable learners nationwide, demonstrating a commitment to equitable educational access regardless of financial circumstances.

District schools inspector Hebert Maziriri delivered remarks praising the institution's piggery project and computer laboratory as examples of community-driven innovation consistent with Education 5.0 principles. Headmaster Oswald Masakadza acknowledged that ministerial participation validates inclusive development priorities while pledging to advance national transformation objectives through academic programming.
