Bangladesh authorities have deployed six superintendents of police to district positions nationwide as part of efforts to maintain security and public order. The home ministry directive also elevated Md Israil Hawlader from his role overseeing industrial police operations to lead the Gazipur Metropolitan Police.
Mohammad Sarwar Alam moved from the Police Bureau of Investigation to take charge in Gaibandha. Md Marufat Hussein and ANM Sajedur Rahman received transfers to Faridpur and Pabna after serving in Dinajpur and Habiganj. Three deputy commissioners from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Md Mizanur Rahman, Goutam Kumar Biswas, and Mohammad Billal Hossain, will assume superintendent roles in Dinajpur, Habiganj, and Nilphamari. The appointments took effect immediately.
