Govt orders preference for disabled in hiring, warns employers

Zimbabwe promotes workplace inclusion by encouraging businesses to hire disabled workers. Minister Edgar Moyo advocates for closing employment gaps between disabled and able-bodied citizens. The 2021 National Disability Policy establishes frameworks for social inclusion. This policy aligns with UN Convention standards for disabled persons' rights. The government commits to creating equitable opportunities across the employment and education sectors.
