Robert Tredgold School kicked out a Grade 7 student for bad behavior. Junior Bandile Ndlovu caused trouble at the Bulawayo school for months. The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education ordered his removal from classes. Officials say he cannot return to school starting May 13. School leaders decided the boy was too dangerous for other students.
Ndlovu called his teacher Helen Nemasiyanwa awful names during class. He told the woman she was a dog and used other hurtful words about her personal life. The student also said terrible things about another boy's parents. He claimed Antony Moyo's family were bad people who did strange things. Teachers warned him about his mouth but he kept talking badly.
The troubled student hit Perfect Manavere during February and hurt his face. Manavere's eye and mouth swelled up after the attack. Teachers tried talking to Ndlovu about violence but he threatened them back. He made scary comments about teacher Kudakwashe Kisimusi's body. The school contacted education officials because they feared for everyone's safety.
