Guterres backs Mutharika, Ansah in Malawi partnership push

UN Secretary-General António Guterres congratulated President Arthur Peter Mutharika of Malawi in a letter dated Oct. 4, 2025, following his inauguration. The correspondence highlights the UN's continued collaboration with Malawi in tackling national and global challenges. Mutharika is anticipated to maintain relationships with international partners to advance development across the country.
