The footage featured protagonist Gwendolyn, the sole survivor of an Outworld invasion in modern London, battling a shapeshifting witch named Tyronoe the Ferryman. She is aided by Sir Lamorak, a spectral Knight of the Roundtable.
The game’s new Dual Frontline Battle System allows players to control both Gwendolyn and Lamorak simultaneously to overcome magical barriers. This is part of a broader Knights System for summoning spectral allies. The trailer also introduced the Mirror Realm, a mysterious dimension that Tyronoe utilizes for her powers, which is a key story element.
