Gweru cops just dropped a ban on carrying machetes, knives, axes, and other sketchy stuff in public for the next three months. Chief Superintendent Leon Marongedze signed off on the order after violent crime got out of hand across neighborhoods like Mkoba, Ridgemont, and the industrial zones. Anyone caught with weapons gets fined, locked up for six months, or both.
