Halo Studios will deliver a final content refresh for Halo: Infinite on Monday, November 18, before shifting resources toward multiple projects, including a remake of the original 2001 campaign using Unreal Engine 5. The concluding update doubles progression rates for Career Rank and Spartan Points while introducing free and premium Operation Passes containing new armor configurations, weapon models and customization options without expiration dates.
The expansion adds two maps to matchmaking rotations, with Yuletide joining Quick Play and Vacancy entering Ranked Arena playlists. More than 200 previously unreleased items will become available through The Exchange marketplace alongside commemorative bundles from Halo 5: Guardians. Ranked Seasons will continue resetting every few months despite the cessation of major updates.
The 2021 release initially attracted positive response for its free multiplayer component, though diminishing post-launch support eventually dampened community enthusiasm. Development teams are reportedly working on remakes of subsequent campaign installments while preparing the next mainline entry in the franchise.
