IBUAM seals deal for 30 training aircraft in aviation push

Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management locked down a deal with Auxano Aviation to grab 30 Jabiru J430 training planes over three years, with Aviation Minister Festus Kayamo watching the MoU get signed at the Nigeria International Airshow in Abuja. Vice Chancellor Prof. Jemitola and founder Isaac Balami both showed up to finalize things, and the delivery schedule splits into 10 aircraft drops each year, starting with two planes hitting campus this month.

Auxano handles registration paperwork, airworthiness docs, spare parts, and instructor training while the university commits to NCAA standards and proper maintenance setups. Some planes arrive fully built, but others come in pieces for students and 7star Global Airlines trainees to assemble as hands-on practice.

The whole purchase counts as one of the biggest aviation training aircraft buys any Nigerian university has ever pulled off, and the phased rollout supposedly keeps operations stable while enrollment scales up.
