IG Rizvi inspects security measures for G-9 Muharram procession

Police chief Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi made a special trip to G-9 on Friday. He wanted to check how well his officers prepared for the Muharram procession. The top cop walked around the area and looked at all the safety plans. He felt happy about what his team put together for the religious event. Rizvi believed the security would keep everyone safe during the march.

The inspector general told reporters that his force created solid protection for the procession. Senior police officers will stand guard along every part of the route. High-tech Safe City cameras will watch the crowd from above. Drones will fly overhead to spot any trouble before it starts. These tools help officers see everything that happens during the religious ceremony.

Police squads will position themselves at the front and back of the procession. They can move fast if something goes wrong during the march. The officers have special training to handle crowds during religious events. Each squad knows exactly what to do if people need help. This setup helps keep the procession moving smoothly from start to finish.
