Imo State lawmakers picked Anne-Martins Ezirim for the Deputy Clerk position. The assembly had not had a deputy clerk since September 2024. Obinna Egu from the Ngor-Okpala area brought up her name for the position. State law requires specific qualifications for deputy clerk positions.
