India denies Pakistan a handshake and the Asia Cup

India secured their ninth Asia Cup championship on Sunday after defeating Pakistan by five wickets in Dubai. The victory came despite pre-match tensions, as both teams declined to participate in the traditional handshakes before the contest began. Pakistan set a target of 147 runs for India to chase during the final match.

Tilak Varma led India's batting effort with an unbeaten score of 69 runs, guiding his team to victory with just two deliveries remaining. Kuldeep Yadav delivered an outstanding bowling performance for India, claiming four wickets while conceding 30 runs. The spinner's efforts proved decisive in restricting Pakistan's total, and India successfully reached their target to claim the continental title.
