India’s Ayush traditions and joint India-Russia projects in technology, health, and banking are featured at the Tatarstan India Mutual Efficiency Business Forum, which opened on Wednesday in Kazan. The forum includes business meetings, panel discussions on health and labor mobility, cultural programs with Indian films, and a friendly cricket match. The Indian delegation is led by Ambassador Vinay Kumar and includes officials from the Ministry of Ayush, Telangana government representatives, the Mayor of Agra, business leaders, spiritual figures, and film personalities.
Ambassador Kumar, in his meeting with the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, discussed the strengthening of India-Russia relations and the planned Indian Consulate in Kazan. He told forum participants that India’s fast-growing economy offers opportunities for investment and collaboration, especially with skilled migration and industrial partnerships. The exhibition highlighted bilateral innovation and cultural exchange. Earlier, Ambassador Kumar also inaugurated the Centre for Indian Studies at Kazan Federal University, supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
