Intel’s Arc B770 still MIA despite firmware leak

Team Blue is ghosting the community about hardware that definitely exists in their own code. Haze2K1 noted that a Reddit detective spotted BMG-G31 firmware inside recent driver packages, proving the chip is real. This discovery clashes with the awkward silence during CES, where executives dodged every single question regarding the Arc B770 launch.

The situation is bizarre because official profiles previously dropped the name before deleting those posts. VTune Profile software already lists support for this exact silicon as well. It feels like the corporation has the product ready, but refuses to say when it might actually appear for purchase.

Fans are frustrated since the current Battlemage lineup only features the weaker Arc B580 and B570. This missing component would finally plug the mid-range hole with better performance and 16 GB of video memory. A full year has passed since the architecture arrived, yet the top-tier option remains vaporware.
