Inter Milan scorns €32M Crystal Palace bid, wants €40M for Basic

Inter Milan has established a minimum transfer fee for German defender Jan Basic following rejected bids from Premier League clubs. Crystal Palace submitted an unsuccessful 32 million euro offer, while West Ham United also presented terms during the current transfer window. The Italian club demands at least 40 million euros for the 24-year-old center-back who earned his first cap with Germany last season. Basic was transferred from the Danish side Aarhus Gymnastik two seasons ago for approximately 7 million euros. The potential sale would generate substantial profit for Inter Milan, given the significant price appreciation since its original acquisition.
