Graham Arnold has named his Iraq roster for the Arab Cup competition in Qatar, selecting 22 players across all positions for the regional tournament. The Australian manager included goalkeeper Jalal Hassan and forward Ayman Hussein among the Lions of Mesopotamia contingent.

Iraq will face Algeria in Group B, alongside two nations yet to emerge from the playoff rounds. Bahrain meets Djibouti while Sudan takes on Lebanon to determine the remaining group participants. Arnold's squad features defenders Ahmed Yahya and Manaf Younis, midfielders Osama Rashid and Ali Jassim, plus striker Mohammed Jawad as the team prepares for continental competition.
