Ishaq Dar rips Israel for Qatar strikes in Doha, calls for global crackdown

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar addressed Arab Islamic Summit preparations by denouncing Israeli military actions against Qatar. He characterized the strikes as unlawful aggression that violates international legal frameworks and threatens regional peace. Dar referenced recent Organization of Islamic Cooperation discussions about Palestinian conflicts while emphasizing the persistent nature of Israeli threats. The minister described attacks on Qatar as reckless provocations that undermine global diplomatic efforts. He highlighted Qatar's mediation work with American and Egyptian partners for Palestinian ceasefire negotiations.

Pakistan demonstrated solidarity with Qatar while pursuing accountability measures through United Nations channels. Dar announced Pakistan's participation in emergency Security Council sessions alongside Algeria and Somalia. The nation also requested urgent Human Rights Council debates regarding Israeli actions in Doha. Pakistan joined other states in jointly sponsoring the summit to develop coordinated responses to global challenges. Dar proposed establishing task forces, imposing sanctions, and pursuing permanent ceasefire arrangements with provisions for humanitarian access.
