Islamabad plea as Dr AFM Khalid pushes OIC for Bangladesh halal drive

Bangladesh Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid visited the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation Centre during his Thursday trip to Islamabad. The adviser requested the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's assistance for enhancing Halal certification operations within Bangladesh's borders. Turkish and Saudi Arabian authorities currently provide support to the Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh for these certification processes.
