Jah Prayzah Caught Stealing Mapfumo Beat

Jah Prayzah said sorry for copying another musician's song after Thomas Mapfumo helped fix the problem. The popular singer released a track called Moto that sounded just like Kurai Makore's song Kanyarugwe from 2022. Dr. Blessing Ivan Vava pointed out how similar the two songs were and caused a debate among music fans. Makore stayed calm about the whole situation and did not make a fuss. Music legend Thomas Mapfumo stepped in to help both artists work things out peacefully.

Mapfumo told reporters that Jah Prayzah called him and admitted he made a mistake with the copied beat. The veteran musician said he accepted the apology because he wants peace between artists. Jah Prayzah explained that someone gave him the beat, and he did not know it came from another song. Mapfumo revealed the beat was actually his creation, but he chose not to start a fight. The elder musician said young artists should not waste time fighting each other over music.

Makore welcomed the peaceful solution and said he never wanted money from the dispute. The musician explained he just wanted people to know about problems that happen in the music business. He respects Jah Prayzah as a successful artist and feels happy that his uncle helped solve the conflict. Makore said he makes music to build his reputation and does not look for drama or trouble with other singers.
