Jaya Prada goes full desi at Tarapith Temple

Actress Jaya Prada visited Tarapith Temple in West Bengal during Navratri festivities on Friday. The veteran performer shared her temple visit through an Instagram video that showed her praying before the deity. She appeared wearing a simple salwar kameez without makeup while offering her devotions.

The Tarapith Temple dates back to the 13th century and stands in Birbhum district of West Bengal. Devotees worship the Hindu goddess Tara at this sacred site, which represents the second of ten Mahavidyas in Hindu tradition. The temple holds significance as one of 51 Sati Pithas across India.

Earlier this year in May, Jaya Prada met with fellow actor Dharmendra at his residence for a social gathering that she documented on social media.
