The team behind the new action comedy Jetlee just dropped the first look for actor Vennela Kishore. Mythri Movie Makers posted the poster on social media, showing Kishore holding a book and staring out an airplane window. The film stars Satya in the lead role, directed by Ritesh Rana, with music from Kaala Bhairava.
This project has already gotten some buzz, partly because it reunites Satya with director Rana. An earlier poster showed Satya on a plane's wing with text declaring he was done with comedy, which fans found funny given the director's style. The movie is produced by Clap Entertainment's Chiranjeevi and Hemalatha Peddamallu, with Mythri presenting it. Industry talk says Jetlee will mix thrills and big laughs in a typical Satya-Rana way, even though the full story is still secret.
Miss Universe India winner Rhea Singha makes her Telugu debut here as the female lead opposite Satya. Vennela Kishore and Ajay also have key parts. The technical crew from Mathu Vadalara is onboard again, with Suresh Sarangam handling cinematography and Karthika Srinivas editing. Production design is by Narni Srinivas.
