Jeys Marabini courts controversy with new Umjolo album title

Veteran artist Jeys Marabini has released his tenth studio recording titled Umjolo. The collection contains ten songs that explore love, trust, and faith as central themes. Young collaborators suggested the album title to generate public interest and discussion. Marabini describes the project as educational content that offers guidance about relationships and promotes peace among Zimbabwean listeners.

The musician collaborated with emerging talent Mzoe 7 on the track Thula Ulalele Nansi Ingoma. Additional songs like Noma Kanjani showcase his artistic evolution and appeal to diverse audiences. Streaming platforms currently host the complete album for digital access. Production teams are developing accompanying music videos to provide visual elements alongside the audio recordings.

Majahawonke Ndlovu adopted the stage name Jeys Marabini when he began performing in 2002.
