Democratic Alliance councillor Beverley Jacobs highlighted that developments like the Bertram Multi-Purpose Centre and the Hikensile Clinic remain unfinished despite millions in public expenditure. The Bertram project alone has consumed over 130 million rand, with an additional 45 thousand rand spent daily on site security during its suspension.
