Joo Haknyeon Denies Allegations and Vows Legal Battle

Former THE BOYZ member Joo Haknyeon spoke out on June 22 about serious accusations against him. He said people started calling him a criminal overnight without proof. The singer wrote a long message online to tell his side of the story. Japanese media site Shukan Bunshun had contacted his music company about photos with adult film actress Asuka Kirara. Haknyeon decided to stop working because he felt bad about disappointing fans.

His agency ONE HUNDRED shocked him with demands for money and contract ending. They wanted him to pay over 2 billion won and sign papers to leave the group. The company gave him no choice to discuss or negotiate the terms. When Haknyeon refused to sign on June 17, the agency announced his departure the next day. News stories about prostitution appeared before Bunshun even published their article.

Haknyeon believes someone planned the whole situation to destroy his career. He thinks the timing seems suspicious because everything happened within just two days. The singer has started legal cases against the reporter and people spreading lies about him. He disagrees with vague contract rules about damaging public image. The agency used these unclear terms to justify firing him.

The performer admits his actions were wrong but denies any criminal behavior. He apologized to fans and former teammates for causing stress and problems. Haknyeon never used drugs, hurt anyone, or paid for illegal services. Asuka Kirara also denied taking money for private activities and said another woman sold the photos. Haknyeon promises to keep fighting the large company despite feeling scared.
