Justin Vernon doubts another Bon Iver album

Justin Vernon has indicated that Bon Iver may not release another studio album, expressing uncertainty about his songwriting future during a media interview. The musician, who released the band's fifth record SABLE, fABLE earlier this year, stated he would be very surprised if another Bon Iver project materialized. Vernon explained that he has stopped writing songs for the first time since adolescence, describing the creative drought as unfamiliar territory that he is attempting to accept despite occasional fear.

The artist attributed his collaborations with major pop figures to his ability to connect with the emotional core of music, though he suggested his creative reservoir may be depleting after absorbing influences from thousands of musicians throughout his career. The recent album earned two Grammy nominations, competing for Best Alternative Music Album, while the track Everything Is Peaceful Love received recognition in the Best Alternative Music Performance category. The release marked a six-year gap since the previous Bon Iver full-length project.
