Kenya fall 8-0 to Senegal in Turkey friendly

Kenya experienced a devastating loss to Senegal in a friendly match at Mardan Stadium in Turkey, conceding eight goals without reply. The Harambee Stars struggled against their opponents' relentless attack and failed to mount any significant offensive threat despite occasional attempts to break through the Senegalese defense.

The defeat followed another loss to Equatorial Guinea, where Jose Miranda converted a penalty before halftime to secure victory. Goalkeeper Byrne Omondi was sent the wrong direction on the spot kick. Jonah Ayunga missed an early opportunity when goalkeeper Jesus Lazaro Owono made a crucial save.

Kenya improved possession in the second period but created few clear scoring opportunities. Substitute Austine Odhiambo fired over the crossbar late in the contest following a pass from Rooney Onyango, while Ovella Ochieng' added pace to the attack after entering as a replacement.
