Officials will check each business much more carefully than before. The government keeps its shisha ban as part of stopping harmful drug use. Duale spoke at Eldoret International Airport where workers burned 5.5 tons of illegal tobacco products. The ceremony happened at Moi Teaching Hospital during World No Tobacco Day activities. Health official Mary Muthoni attended with Deputy Governor Evans Kapkekei and hospital chief Dr. Phillip Kirwa. Duale said cheap tobacco products harm young people with dangerous chemicals. He promised Kenya would never become a place where companies dump toxic materials.
