Kenya and Canada have initiated a partnership aimed at addressing New Brunswick’s shortage of paramedics, while also providing job opportunities for young Kenyans. Senior officials from the Ministry of Labour met leaders from the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada, to outline a framework leading to a Memorandum of Understanding. Labour Principal Secretary Shadrack Mwadime led the Kenyan delegation, while the Canadian side included Executive Director Chris Hood and Deputy President Jordan Baker.
