In Nairobi, the outages will impact several industrial areas, including Mukuru, where Kuguru Foods and Bhachu Industries operate. The interruption extends to educational institutions such as St. Mary's Primary School and Kenya High School. Residential areas along Siaya Road, Mandera Road, and Dik Dik Gardens will experience power cuts.
Machakos residents near Daystar University, Lukenya Academy, and various businesses, including Amazing Kenya, will face interruptions. Power cuts will affect Makutano, Kapenguria, and surrounding regions in West Pokot. Uasin Gishu interruptions will impact Kampi Kuku, the Simba Cement Factory, and nearby commercial areas.
Kisumu County will experience a shorter outage period from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, affecting areas such as Thurgem, Sondu, and parts of Miwani. Kakamega's outage will last until 5 PM, primarily affecting MMUST and the Kefinco area. Bungoma residents will face the briefest interruption, scheduled from 8 AM to noon, mainly affecting market areas in Unakwe, Chiliba, and Bumula.
The power company has scheduled maintenance in Kiambu's Umoja Estate and surrounding areas, including Kenya Paper and various residential estates.
