Kenya uproar as Aden Duale vaccinates 3.5 million kids with MR TCV

Kenya's massive vaccination drive reaches millions of kids as health officials celebrate major progress against deadly diseases. Health CS Aden Duale announces that 3.5 million children have gotten the new Measles-Rubella shots since the campaign launched July 5. The typhoid vaccination effort has delivered doses to 12.1 million youngsters across the nation. Officials target 6.5 million children for measles-rubella protection and 19.2 million for typhoid prevention. The campaign has reached over 4,000 children who never received any vaccines before.

Medical teams distribute free shots at schools, health centers, churches, mosques and markets throughout the country. Health workers visit homes and conduct outreach programs to find every eligible child. The main campaign has three days remaining while two cleanup days follow to catch missed cases. Parents and caregivers rush to get their children protected before the deadline arrives. Community leaders and religious figures encourage families to participate in the life-saving initiative.

World Health Organization experts approve both vaccines after rigorous safety testing and international review. Duale praises parents, health workers and community volunteers for their tremendous response to the campaign. Urban and rural families demonstrate strong commitment to shielding children from preventable diseases. The health ministry warns against false information that endangers lives and confuses parents. Officials urge people to trust only verified sources like the Ministry of Health and qualified medical professionals.
