Kenya's Foreign Affairs Ministry holds Ministerial Wellness Day

Kenya's Foreign Affairs workers had their special health day on Friday. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi came to Ulinzi Grounds to join the celebration. The event focused on keeping diplomats healthy and strong for their jobs. Workers learned about staying fit and managing money better. Everyone agreed that healthy staff make better representatives for Kenya around the world.

Mudavadi talked about a new plan to train more Kenyan diplomats at home. The government wants seven out of ten diplomats to come from Kenya rather than other countries. This change will help Kenya build stronger skills for international work. Officials believe local training creates better long-term results. The policy shows Kenya wants to develop its people for global leadership roles.

The day brought together ministry workers for fun activities and learning. Staff from India's High Commission taught yoga classes to help people relax. Everyone did energetic exercise routines and worked together on team challenges. Ambassador Lucy Kiruthu spoke about how diplomats need strong bodies and minds for their demanding work. Director Stella Langat explained that healthy employees serve the country much better.

Mudavadi gave awards to the best workers and departments during the event. The ceremony recognized people who did excellent work for Kenya's international relations. Officials stressed that taking care of employee health helps the country succeed globally. The ministry promised to keep supporting worker wellness programs. Strong and healthy diplomats represent Kenya more effectively to other nations.
