Kibet Blasts Karua's Tanzania Trip, Warns Fallout

Farouk Kibet attacked Martha Karua and other activists arrested across the border. President Ruto's aide said their actions could hurt Kenya's friendship with Tanzania. Kibet spoke at a community meeting at Etago grounds on Thursday. He called the activists rude and said they should face punishment. The presidential assistant wants Kenya to respect neighboring countries.

Kibet praised Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu and her right to arrest troublemakers. He told activists to return home and talk about real policies instead of tribal politics. The aide said any Kenyan can become president regardless of their background. Deputy President Kindiki and several lawmakers attended the same gathering. National Assembly Chief Whip Sylvanus Osoro hosted the public event.

Osoro agreed with Kibet about keeping peace between countries. The lawmaker promised that the 2027 elections would stay calm and safe. He said voters already know who they want to support next time. Osoro claimed people care more about development than political fights. The MP mocked opponents who failed to win support from other legislators.
