Kijaji drops tourism reports to parliament in Dodoma bases

Tanzania's Natural Resources and Tourism Minister just laid out how her ministry has been doing its job to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Lands, Natural Resources, and Tourism. Dr Ashatu Kijaji dropped the implementation report just days before the Second Session of the 13th Parliament of the United Republic kicks off.

The session took place in Dodoma, where the committee plans to go through 16 different implementation reports from the ministry and its places under it. Thimotheo Mnzava chairs the committee running the whole thing.

The point of gathering everyone was to check out how well the ministry has been handling its responsibilities and grab feedback from the committee to level up performance and service to regular people in the sector.

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Hamad Chande showed up for the meeting, as well as the ministry's Permanent Secretary Dr Hassan Abbasi and Deputy Permanent Secretary Nkoba Mabula. Ministry management, institution heads, and training college leaders all sat in on the discussion.
