Kindiki Calls Out Critics Over Loyalty

Kenya's Deputy President fought back against people who make fun of his loyalty. Kindiki spoke to crowds in Kirinyaga county Wednesday, saying those who call him "Mr Yes Man" have it all wrong. He pointed out that Ruto himself stayed loyal to former President Uhuru Kenyatta during both terms. Kindiki said loyalty helps things move forward with presidential plans.

The Deputy President made clear he's nobody's fool. He knows exactly what he's doing despite what critics say. Kindiki came into his role after serving as Interior Cabinet Secretary when President Ruto picked him following Gachagua's removal through impeachment. Many critics claim Ruto selected Kindiki because he wanted someone who wouldn't challenge his decisions.

Kindiki mentioned how opposition leaders keep using this storyline to attack him. This happened after Gachagua claimed his questioning of presidential decisions led to his removal. Just yesterday, Kindiki said government leaders wouldn't spend time responding to critics who lack better ideas for Kenya. He stressed that his job focuses on assisting the President instead of fighting him.

He doubled down on sticking to his main job of backing President Ruto. Kindiki rejected advice from certain people telling him to battle against the President. He plans to continue working alongside other officials to deliver what they promised Kenyan citizens. The Deputy President assured Ruto he would stay strong against any forces trying to create problems between them.
